•Permanent employment in the area (16hrs a week or more) having his or her place of permanent work (normally regarded as 16 hours or more a week and not including seasonal or casual employment) therein for a continuous period of at least three (3) years immediately prior to the date of a Housing Application
•Close family living in the area for at least 5 years (mother, brother, father, sister etc.)
•Having lived in Cornwall for 10 of the first 16 years of life
•Other exceptional circumstances accepted by Cornwall Council
Minimum Local Connection (used after 70 days)
•Living in Cornwall continuously for at least 12 months, or
•Permanent employment in Cornwall
